Fall Fun Part 1

~Bella is 34 months~
~Caiden and Ada are 16 months~

So now that Fall is here, I have TONS of things to do with the kids from all my years teaching in daycare.  So I'm super excited to work on stuff with them :)

So what is fall without a little Pumpkin buying :)  We will hopefully be making it to a pumpkin patch soon, but for now we went to a local farmers market.

Some of the Pumpkins were perfect for holding...

Some of the pumpkins were pretty Big!

So after seeing pumpkins we painted some!

Bella worked really hard at staying in the lines!

Then I had some pumpkin learning aids that we went over

Bella worked on a Pumpkin Learning Pack also.

Cutting practice

Letter P dot work.

Find letter P

What begins with P

Alphabet maze

Which is different

Counting and finding the corresponding number.  She then glued them on.

More Pattern work

Then we worked on listening skills and finding 1st, 2nd, etc.

Shadow Matching.

Pre writing practice.

What color is the Pumpkin Book.

How many Pumpkins.  I would put a number in the corner and
she would have to count the correct amount of pumpkins.

Then she did some Shape Matching

Then we got out the dot markers and worked on the colors Orange, Yellow and Red.  They also worked on taking turns as the dotted each color on their tree to make leaves.

And of course it sometimes is way more fun just to screw the cap on :)

Then we got out some Pom Poms and our new trays.

Then they each got a turn with the tweezers to manipulate the pom poms.

The we turned the trays over and stuck the pom poms in the trays that way!

Disclaimer:
All photos of activities seen are just a moment in time in our day and the activity itself.  Don't be fooled, those happy smiles are not there the entire length of the activity.  We are real people here too, people who struggle with sharing, OCD, being tired, apathy and the like.  These photos are just to show what the activities are and a reminder to self of what we have done and where we have come.
